After a long, long week, I’m closing in on a complete website. I’m still fussing with colors, figuring out add-ons (like WordPerfect forms). My writing time has vanished into what? What? What? as I click”remove” and part of a page disappears when I wanted it to stay.
It’s kind of like baking a cake when you don’t know whether you should add an egg or a potato to the flour. I feel I’ve added not only potatoes, but spices and sprinkles in some odd concoction. I’ve now also discovered how Google reCaptcha can be added to forms. Who knew what options forced me to decide whether a square held a traffic light or not?
More than you likely wanted to know about building a website from scratch.
As always, I’m in the middle of a book. This one is Within These Wicked Walls, a gothic tale involving terirfyin spirits and amulets of protection.
Ahh, books can always sweep me into a world far from my current problems. In this instance, website construction woes.
